The items on this page are made by local NW food artisans, who we support as a two-part mission:

  • Provide our members access to the freshest, highest-quality food on the planet
  • Support sustainable means of local food production

These items are also available in local food co-ops and natural foods stores, and we encourage you to buy them there when the mood strikes you; OCP isn’t a retail store with 30-day access to these foods. By purchasing these items through OCP during our buying period, though, some special things happen:

  • You get food made fresh-to-order, specially for you. Artisanal items you order with us are made just a few days before you get them.
  • By placing a pre-fulfilled order with the food artisan, we’re able to eliminate the waste that typically accompanies retail sales of perishable goods.
  • In support of our mission to support local vendors, OCP pays the artisan more for their product than a retail store does and we get it to you for less than the store charges. You save money, and the food artisan makes more from your OCP purchase.
